Terms of Service

By visiting LaunchLoom, creating an account, or submitting a product, you enter a binding agreement with us (“LaunchLoom”, “we”, “us”). If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind that company. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the service.

• You must be at least 16 years old and use an email address you control.
• We sign you in with a magic link, Google or GitHub. We never see or store a password.
• One account per person. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• Keep your email secure. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, products, votes, comments and uploads.

• Submit only products you own or are authorised to represent.
• The link must open a working product. Waitlists, placeholders, redirects to unrelated pages and broken sites are rejected.
• Names, taglines, descriptions, logos, screenshots and videos must be accurate and yours to use.
• Every submission is reviewed by a person. We may approve, reject with a reason, trim metadata for clarity, move a launch to a later week, or remove a listing at any time.
• You keep all rights to your content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show it on LaunchLoom, in our emails and social posts about launches, and in search and link previews, for as long as it is listed.

Comments are public and attached to your profile. Be useful and civil: questions, feedback and honest opinions are welcome; insults, spam, self-promotion unrelated to the product, and harassment are not. We may remove comments and restrict accounts that break this rule. You can delete your own comments at any time.

• Upvotes are one per member per launch, only while the launch week is open, and never on your own product.
• Visits are counted when someone clicks “Visit site” on LaunchLoom. We hash IP addresses to detect repeats and may discard visits we believe are automated.
• Final rankings are frozen when a week ends and stay on the archive.

Rankings only mean something when they are honest. Doing any of the following gets a listing removed and may get an account banned without refund:

• Buying, trading, scripting or otherwise manufacturing upvotes, comments or visits.
• Creating extra accounts to vote, comment or submit.
• Posting spam, malware, phishing, adult content, hate, or anything illegal where you or we are located.
• Scraping member data, probing our systems, or interfering with the service for others.
• Impersonating another person, product or company.

Launching is free. Paid add-ons such as featured placement are one-time purchases shown with their price and what you get before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see your card number. Taxes are added where required. The Refund Policy explains when you can get money back.

LaunchLoom, its logo, design, code and text belong to us. Product names, logos and content belong to their makers. You may link to any public page on LaunchLoom and show a “Featured on LaunchLoom” badge on your own site. You may not copy our design or content to build a competing directory.

Approved product pages link to the product’s website with standard, crawlable links. We do not promise any search ranking, domain authority or traffic result, and we may change how links are rendered to keep the site healthy for everyone.

You can stop using LaunchLoom and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, and remove listings that no longer meet our review standards. Where we close an account for a reason other than a breach, we refund unused paid features.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it online, accurate and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free rankings, or that any listed product is safe, lawful or suitable for you. Products listed on LaunchLoom are made by their makers, not by us.

To the fullest extent the law allows, LaunchLoom is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to cover us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from content you submit, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

Sign-in uses Google and GitHub; hosting, storage and email use providers listed in the Privacy Policy. Those services have their own terms. Links to makers’ websites and social profiles lead to sites we do not control.

We may update these Terms. We change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, announce them on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use LaunchLoom after that means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any formal dispute, contact us so we can try to resolve it directly; most issues are fixed within a few days.
